First -- It is my will and desire that my funeral expenses and all my just debts shall be fully paid. Second -- I hereby give, devise and bequeath to my beloved husband, Frank A. Allison, all of my estate, real and personal and mixed, of every kind and character and wherever the same may be situation, whether owned by me now or acquired by me here- after, to be his sole and absolute property forever. Lastly - I hereby nominate and appoint my said husband, Frank A. Allison, to be the executor of this my Last Will and Testament, and it is my desire and wish that he be allowed to act as such executer without bond or other security. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 7th day of April, A. D. 1910. [Signed] Bessie Hellen Beatrice Allison {seal} The above instrument, consisting of this sheet, was, at the date thereof , declared to us, by the said Bessie Helen Beatrice Allison, the testatrix therein mentioned, to be her Last Will and Testament, and she at the same time acknowledged to us and each of us, that she had signed and sealed the same, and we, therefore, at her request and in her presence, and in the presence of each other, signed our names thereto as attesting witnesses, believing the said Bessie Helen Beatrice Allison to be, at the time of subscribing our names as witness as aforesaid, of sound mind and memory. Levy [signature], Residing at Murphysboro, Illinois [note, although her name "Hellen" is spelled "Helen" throughout the typed document, she signed her name with two "L's"] ------------------------------------------------- STATE OF ILLINOIS Jackson county IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF Bessie Hellen Allison, DECEASED The following is a full and perfect inventory of all the Real and Personal Estate of the said Deceased, so far as the same has come to the possession or knowledge of the undersigned Executor. "The Southeast quarter of Section Fourteen (14) in Township One Hundred Sixteen (116) North of Range Seventy-Four (74) west of the Fifth P. M. containing 160 acres more or less, situation in the County of Sully and State of South Dakota Value = $1,600.00. I do certify that the foregoing is a full and correct inventory of all the Real and Personal Estate or the proceeds of the same, which was of Bessie Hellen Beatrice Allison, deceased which has been committed to my superintendence and management, or which has come to my hands, possession or knowledge, and that the Names and Accounts above described are in quality as above indicated.
