Fancil, 37, of Route 1, Willow Hill, was fatally injured in a two-car accident at 10:50 a.m. Saturday on Rt. 130-A west of Ste. Marie. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Buchanan Funeral Home in Newton with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Jasper County. Mrs. Fancil was born June 25, 1947 in Olney, a daughter of Marving and Wanda (Short) Rogers. She married Ralph Fancil and he survives. Surviving beside her husband are one son, Rodney at home; foster son, Todd Atkins at home; one brother, Jim of Noble, three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Bergbower of Stillwater, OK, Mrs. Tim (Carolyn) Doan of Olney and Mrs. Matt (Kala) buchanan of Newton; parents, Marvin Rogers of Newton and Wanda Davidson of Newton. She was a member of the Bogota baptist church in Bogota.
