Funeral Rites for F. Downs held Monday     Final rites for Frank Downs 89, of Jerseyville were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o' clock at the Church of Christ in Jerseyville with Orlen Campbell officiating.  His death occurred Friday evening at his home at 508 Lafayette Street.  Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Born April 17, 1881, in Waverly he was a son of William and Jane Downs and had engaged in farming.  His survivors are his wife, Mrs. Electa Franz Downs; two daughters, Mrs. Ed Murray of Laramie, Wyoming, and Mrs.Oren Adams of Alton; one grand child; three great grandchildren.  His parents and one brother preceded him in death.  Visitation hours were held at Jacoby Brothers.<BR>
