Mrs. Charles Farrell (Amelia Guempelein Farrell) Obituary Death Summons Mrs. C. Farrell Mrs. Charles Farrelll, 59, one of Aurora's well known women, died at her home, 350 Fox street yesterday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock following a short illness of uremic poisoning. The deceased was stricken last Wednesday and never regained consciousness. Mrs. Farrell was born in Aurora, Aug. 14, 1862, and had resided here all her life. She was the wife of Charles Farrell, foreman of the Burlington railroad boiler shop. Others who survive are one son, Edward J. Farrell, plumbing contractor; one daughter, Mrs. John J. Riley, both of Aurora; two brothers, William Gumpelein of Oklahoma, Albert Guempelein of Kansas City, and one sister, Mis Laura Guempelein of Aurora. Mrs. Farrell was a member of the Royal Neighbors lodge. The news of her death came as a shock to a large circle of friends. The funeral will be held from the late home, 350 Fox street, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Friend are requested to please omit flowers.
