Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 2pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield. Burial will be Monday, April 16, 2012 at 11am in the Robertson County Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home Saturday morning from 11am until the time of service. Mr. Haskins was born April 29, 1941 in Aurora, Illinois to the late Aaron and Mary Bigham Haskins. He was a bus driver for Mid-Cumberland and was of the Catholic faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Haskins is preceded in death by his sister, Lydia Haskins Miller. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lambert Haskins; daughters, Lisa (Randy) Appleton of Springfield, Betty (Bobby) Richards of Cedar Hill, Elizabeth Haskins of Sedalia, MO, Mary Agnes Haskins of Elizabeth, IL, and Dawn Marie Haskins of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Brandy Appleton, Casey Richards Lyman, Dustin Appleton, Sarah Meyers, Joshua Meyers, Joseph Meyers and Alan George Haskins; and great-grandchildren, Jayden Craddock, Dylan Lyman, McKaylee Lyman and John Morris Lyman.
