State of Illinois, Knox County: I hereby certify that I performed the marriage 
ceremony to the wihin named Tilman Kemper and party under and given for the 
(unreadable)according to the customs and usages of the community in which I 
reside. ~ April 17th 1837 ~ Given under my Hand and Seal, George Fitch, J.P.

Tindall Kemper & Jane Ann Grass, Mr. John G Sanborn, Clerk of the County 
(unreadable) Court, Knoxville, Registered Apl 23, 1837.
