Libertyville Independent - February 19, 1920 February 19, 1920
Ray Spaid, aged 22,  of 301 North Sheridan Road, was placed under arrest by the 
Waukegan police Friday night on request of the police at Stevens Point, Wis., who 
hold a warrant for his arrest on charge of wife abandonment.  Spaid is being held 
pending the arrival of the Wisconsin officers.  He has been employed at the 
tannery here and informed the local police that it is simply a case where his 
wife wants to remain at Stevens Point and has refused to join him here.
