Homer Dahringer of Waukegan, American aerial observer, reported missing in action Sept. 17 after his plane disappeared behind the foe lines while on a perilous mission during a storm, has been found. He is with the American army of occupation on German soil, and is in the best of health and with the company with which he started out. News to this effect arrived in a letter this morning to Mrs. Anna Z. Allen, 115 Second street, from her daughter, Evelyn, a secretary of the American Red Cross hospital and home service in Paris. She succeeded in the getting trace of Dahringer before the war department, the Red Cross and other agencies. Dahringer's fiancee, Miss Ruth Beasley, was among the first to hear the news. Additional Comments: Side Note: **It was reported on January 3, 1919 from the Army to Homer's family that Homer was killed in action and his body was brought to France for burial.
