MARY JANE BACON DIES AT THE AGE OF 77 YEARS


Mary Jane Bacon, on of the best known Waukegan residents, passed away at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Harriet Spaulding on Seward street, shortly after 7
o'clock this morning.  The deceased was a native of the State of Ohio, but had
made Waukegan her home for over 20 years.  She leaves to mourn her demise one
daughter, Mrs. Harriet Spaulding; two sons, Grant Freleigh of California, and
Joe Bacon and one step-son, Elliott Bacon. 

She was born on the 8th day of September in 1839.  The funeral service will be
held on Friday, but the hour has not been set at yet.
