The funeral, which was largely attended, was held at St. Mary's Church, Buffalo Grove, where the burial took place Wednesday. He was one time owner of the Winston Mills of Half Day. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Marie Becker; three daughters: Sister Magdalena, Mrs. Theo Knittle, and Susie; seven sons: Peter, Joseph, Wendell, John, Valentine, and Phillip; and other relatives to mourn their loss.
