Cook County Herald -- January 12, 1901
Mr. Peter Becker, an aged and respected citizen, who was born in Germany 70
years ago, died at his home, a little north of Wheeling where he has resided for
fifty years, Sunday morning.  The funeral, which was largely attended, was held
at St. Mary's Church, Buffalo Grove, where the burial took place Wednesday.  He
was one time owner of the Winston Mills of Half Day.  

He leaves a wife, Mrs. Marie Becker; three daughters: Sister Magdalena, Mrs.
Theo Knittle, and Susie; seven sons: Peter, Joseph, Wendell, John, Valentine,
and Phillip; and other relatives to mourn their loss.

Additional Comments:
Buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Buffalo Grove, Lake County, Illinois located on
Lake Cook Road.
