Marie Elizabeth Beith (nee Dean), passed away peacefully in her sleep on 
Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Rolling Hills Manor in Zion, Illinois.

She was born September 28, 1913 at home in North Buena Vista, Iowa to William 
and Elizabeth Dean. In 1933 she married John W. Beith. She enjoyed traveling and 
the opportunity to visit the place of her husband's birth in Houston, Scotland. 
Marie was also an accomplished artist and her family continues to enjoy the 
beautiful paintings she completed during her lifetime. 

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Beith in 1992; and her son-
in-law, Mario Torres earlier this year.
