Z. Blodgett Thursday morning of last week, Mrs. A. Z. Blodgett, of Waukegan, passed away after a lingering illness which for months has confined her to the house. Death came at one o’clock, dropsy, superinduced by a weak heart, being the fatal malady. In the death of Mrs. Blodgett there is removed from Waukegan and Lake County one of its oldest, best known and most respected residents. Mary E. (Porter) Blodgett was born in Demorestville, Ontario, May 26, 1838 and seven years later, her parents came to this county, locating in Waukegan.
