Mrs. Boyes was born in Wales and was about fifty years of age. She came to this country when ten or twelve years of age. She was married about thirty years ago to Edward Boyes. Besides Mrs. Boyes, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Davis, who is now in St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Merton Jones, who has been ill for a week with the flu; one brother, John Davis and her father, who lives in Grayslake. She also leaves an adopted son, George Stedman. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Ream of Mt. Carroll, formerly pastor of the Libertyville M. E. church. Interment was made in Lakeside cemetery.
