FATHER OF POLICE MAGISTRATE DIES


Albert S. Brown of 329 North Genesee street, father of Police Magistrate, 
Clarence Brown, died at his home Saturday night at 7 o'clock.  He had been 
failing for sometime and his death was brought on by a heart attack.

Mr. Brown has lived in Waukegan the past 38 years and was in the insurance 
business.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nellie R. Brown, two sons, Clarence 
L. and Jesse R. Brown of Waukegan and three daughters, Mrs. Leta B. Handley of 
Wauwatosa, Wis., Mrs. Ferne M. Ridgely and Miss Myrtle Brown of Waukegan and his 
grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2 o'clock tomorrow from the Holland Funeral 
parlors.  Burial will be Northshore Garden of Memorials.
