Waukegan Gazette   June 1881
Another old settler, Mrs. Bridget Callahan, died June 10, 1881.  Some twelve years 
since, she received a paralytic stroke on one side, leaving her almost helpless.  
Her niece, Mrs. Mary Duffey, has constantly taken care of her from the first to 
the last.  She was 77 years old and one of the oldest settlers in this town.
