Carney John W. Carney of 608 Jackson street passed away at the Victory Memorial hospital at 4 o’clock yesterday following an operation to which he had submitted in the morning. He had been a resident of Waukegan for about a year and a half, coming here from Wadsworth. He is survived by his wife and three children, Walter, Edith and Alice; four brothers, James, Peter, Thomas and William, all of Lake county; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Dunn and Mrs. Herbert Sheehan, also of this county. The deceased was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and all members of this organization will meet at their hall at eight o’clock this evening to go to the home of their late brother. Funeral services will be held at nine o’clock Saturday morning at the Immaculate Conception church. Rev. F. J. Shea will conduct the services. Burial will be in the family lot at Mill Creek.
