MARTIN CLINTON, GUNMAN, KILLED 

Martin Clinton, laborer, of Highland Park, sag shot and killed this afternoon by 
Louis Flynn, at a house the latter is building near Exmoor club.  Clinton went 
to the house after threatening to kill another person.  He was heavily armed and 
displayed the gun before Flynn, who shot in self-defense.  Clinton was 45 years 
old, married and had a family.  Flynn is a distributor for Chicago newspapers 
and resides at Highwood.  The inquest is being held this afternoon, after which 
the time of a preliminary hearing will be fixer upon.
