Mrs. Dahringer, a pioneer resident in Waukegan, died in her home Saturday. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lydia Whyte, whose husband is assistant city treasurer in Waukegan, and Mrs. Edna Gill; four grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. A son, Lt. Homer Dahringer, was killed in an observation plan during World War I. The Waukegan American Legion Post and a Waukegan street, Dahringer drive, are named after him.
