W. Dahringer Dies; Once Head of Salt Concern Henry W. Dahringer, 79 years old, for thirty years in the salt business in Waukegan, died yesterday at his home at 236 Stewart avenue, Waukegan, after an illness of two years. He retired as president of the Dahringer Salt Company three years ago. Mr. Dahringer and his widow, Mrs. Anna Marie Dahringer, celebrated their fifty- fourth wedding anniversary last Dec. 22. Besides hid widow, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Steinhaus and Mrs. Lydia White of Waukegan and Mrs. Edna Gill of Springfield. A son, Lieut. Homer W. Dahringer, was killed in an observation plane during the war and the American Legion post in Waukegan was named for him. Funeral services for Mr. Dahringer will be held tomorrow.
