Chicago Daily Tribune - June 8, 1909
Michael Devlin, who is dead at the home of his sister, Mrs. Margaret Stickney 
Beach, in Ravenswood, will be buried at Oakwoods, Waukegan, Thursday afternoon.  
As a lieutenant of the Ninety-sixth Illinois he escaped from both Andersonville 
and Florence prisons in the civil war, being mustered out with this regiment.  He 
left one son and two daughters, another sister being Mrs. Sarah Corser of 
Ravenswood.
