3000 Cases of Influenza in Waukegan Right Now

Mrs. Gobrecht Victim of the Influenza Last Night

In the death Thursday night at 10:45 o'clock, of Mrs. Edith Browneller Gobrecht,
wife of Edwin R. Gobrecht, Secretary of the Waukegan YMCA. Waukegan looses one
of it's noblest women, one whose sudden demise brings general sadness to the
city. Mrs. Gobrecht succumbed to a three days illness of pneumonia, following an
apparently light attack of Spanish influenza.

Buried in Pineview Cemetery, Beach Park, Lake County, Illinois
