Chicago Daily Tribune   February 28, 1934
Benjamin Heggen, 83 years old, who was for many years a deacon in the Christian 
Catholic Apostolic Church of Zion, died suddenly of heart disease last night while 
riding in an automobile near his home in Zion. About two years ago Mr. Heggen 
withdrew from the Zionist church. He is survived by three daughters, one of whom 
is the wife of A. E. Hazeuryager, city manager of Zion.

Buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Zion, Lake, Illinois

Wife, Isabelle Elizabeth Osman Heggen, died Nov. 5, 1927 and is buried with 
Benjamin.
