William F. Hogan Dies at 82: Ex-Mayor of Highwood

William F. Hogan, 82 years old, former mayor of Highwood, died yesterday in his 
home at 9 Walker avenue in the suburb. Born in Albany, N.Y. he moved to Highwood 
60 years ago and had lived there ever since. He was president of the village late 
in the last century and mayor for two terms after it became a city early in the 
present century. He was an insurance man, retiring ten years ago. Funeral services 
will be held Saturday morning in St. James church in Highwood. Burial will be in 
Lake Forest cemetery.
