A North Chicago resident for 24 years, he was Born in Muscle Shoals, Ala., Nov. 8, 1903. Survivors included two sons, Clarence; Curtis of Waukegan; two daughters Miss Madie Louise Jones of Waukegan and Mrs. Berneice Sibert of North Chicago. Also surviving are four brothers, Charles, Earl, Ozzie and James H. Jones, all of North Chicago, and four sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Byars and Mrs. Vestrine Tipton of North Chicago, Mrs. Gerneice Johnson of Waukegan, and Mrs. Beulah Jordan of Zion. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist church, 1412 Greenfield ave., North Chicago. The Rev. Cleo McKenzie will officiate and burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery, Zion. Friends may call at the chapel, 707 S. Genesee st, after 5 p.m. tomorrow.
