MARIE MASON DIES SUDDENLY AT HOME IN CHICAGO Mother of Justice Roy J. Mason is Found Dead in Bed Early in Morning At 3 o'clock this morning Roy J. Mason, Justice of the Peace, received word that his mother had been found dead in her bed at her Chicago home by her husband. The news of his mother's death came as a great shock to Mr. Mason and other Waukegan relatives as Mrs. Mason's health had improved noticeably during the winter. When she retired last evening she appeared to be in good health. A year ago she suffered a great deal from heart trouble, but for the past few months her condition had seemed greatly improved. Mr. Mason left this morning for his parents' home in Chicago and is not expected to return here until late this evening. Mrs. Marie Wilcox Mason was 74 years of age and is survived by her husband and seven children, all of whom are known locally. For upwards of 30 years Mrs. Mason made Lake county her home.
