2 IN FAMILY DIE WITHIN 1 WEEK


Mrs. Mary McCullough, nearly 86 years old, widow of George McCullough, who died 
January 16, 1908 is dead at her home in Gurnee.  The funeral will take place at 
1 tomorrow, with burial in Warren Cemetery.

Mrs. McCullough's grand-daughter Edna, daughter of George McCullough, the 
supervisor, died only last week and was buried Saturday, a victim of spinal 
meningitis.

Mrs. McCullough, born in Ireland, had lived in Lake county ever since 1943 and 
the family is widely known.  The survivors are a sister, Mrs. Julia Polmeteer of 
Chicago, 86, and the only one of 14 children living, and two sons, William and 
George and a daughter, Mrs. Ray Dixon.  One son, Thomas, died Dec. 6, 1914.  
There also are twelve grand children.  Mrs. McCullough had been ill in bed six 
weeks.

Also buried here is husband, George, son Thomas and daughter, May McCullough 
Dixon
Sister, Julia Polmeteer is buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Waukegan, IL
