GERALD W. PECK, SLAIN BROKER, TO BE BURIED FRIDAY

The funeral of Gerald W. Peck, investment broker and sportsman who was slain on
Monday in Seguin, Tex., will be held at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake
Forest at 2 p.m. Friday.  Interment will take place in the Lake Forest Cemetery.

Mr. Peck's body will arrive in Libertyville where he made his home, on Thursday
afternoon.  It will remain at his home until the funeral.  Mr. Peck was killed
by a disgruntled ranch owner who charged that his land was damaged by a dam
constructed by Mr. Peck's power company.
