Pienkowsky, aged 71. of South Haven, Mich., passed away Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. McCaslin of 518 Madison street, Waukegan. Mr. Pienkowsky and wife had been spending the winter here with their daughter. Death was due to hemorrhage of the brain which occurred ten days ago. For the last week Mr. Pienkowsky had been unconscious and death was not unlooked for. In fact his son, Arthur Pienkowsky, who holds a position with the treasury department at Washington. D.C. was notified of his father's illness and started at once for Waukegan. He arrived at four o'clock Monday afternoon, just two hours after his father passed away. Besides his widow, daughter and son, Mr. Pienkowsky leaves a sister, Mrs. W. P. Higley. Funeral services at noon Wednesday. Rev. Chiidester officiating. Interment at Union Grove, Wis.
