MRS. SPELLMAN IS DEAD AT THE HOME OF HER DAUGHTER

For The Last Three Years Mrs. Patrick Spellman Lived With Mrs. Phil Sheridan


Mrs. Patrick Spellman, aged 69 years, died Sunday at the home of her daughter 
Mrs. Phil Sheridan south of Gurnee.

Funeral at St. Joseph's church in Waukegan Tuesday at 10 o'clock, burial in St. 
Mary's cemetery.

Mrs. Spellman leaves two sons, John and Thomas and two daughters, Mrs. Catherine 
Anderson and Mrs. Sheridan.

Mrs. Spellman formerly lived at Lake Forest until three years ago when she came 
to Waukegan to live with her daughter and when the Sheridans moved onto the farm 
near Gurnee, she accompanied them there. 

Mrs. Spellman had been sick for some time, in fact, at various periods it was 
felt that she not survived a great while.  Her sickness originally came from a 
paralytic stroke that left her in a serious condition ever since she sustained 
it a year ago.
