Unknown newspaper article dated March 2, 1889. RUTLAND ITEMS: Rutland, Feb 24- A party was given at the residence of W. F. Slewder Friday evening, Feb. 22, in honor of the kids of Rutland. Dancing was the principal event of the evening, the music being furnished by Willis Shaver. They tripped the light fantastic toe until 12 O'clock, when they departed for their homes.
