Name of newspaper is unknown, Margaret Ann Kleiber died Feb. 20, 1857. The obituary reads as follows: DIED- Feb. 20, at the residence of her husband in the town of Rutland, Mrs. Margaret, wife of David Shaver, aged 32 years. "Thus in the midst of life are we in death." But a few days ago she who now sleeps in the quiet grave yard was in apparent health. The flush dwelt upon her check-her eye sparkled bright with hopes for the future. But, ah! death came and took that loved sister from our circle. Oh! cruel death, that has thus robbed us of her- she who was loved by all; for truly none knew her but to love her. But death spares not the loved nor the loving, for the sweetest flowers are first to fade. But let us not murmur. "This the hand of kind Providence, and while he afflicts with one hand he will bind up with the other; and though we sustain a loss, 'tis her eternal gain." Weep not then, aged mother, for that once loved daughter. She is now free from the many cares and sorrows of earth, for God had taken her to dwell with him; there will her peaceful spirit be at rest. Yet there is one who refuses to be comforted, for his affliction is too great, and his sorrow, oh! How deep-yes, too deep for us to penetrate. "This a loved companion. How will he ___upon the memory of bygone days, while each fond recollection will recall pleasant scenes of the past; each mornings sun will remind him of that sweet smile which was the sunshine of his heart; while the evening sun, as he casts his setting beams upon all nature, will sadden his heart, for he knows he will find a lonely home. But console thyself with this one thought-she is happy, and though she cannot come to us, we can go to her, and there live and bask forever in the bright glories of that ectestial world, where tears are not, and partings will be no more.
