The Inter Ocean [Chicago IL] August 28, 1877
Special Telegram to the Inter Ocean.

Dixon, Ill., Aug 27.-H. C. Brown, a compositor, employed in the Dixon Sun 
office, forged checks to the amoung of $56 on W. M. Kennedy, the editor. He 
got the cash on $38, and left for parts unknown.
