NOTE: Jefferson L. Tucker is listed in most records as 
      LEFFERSON.  We cousins believe that this was a 
      mistaken transcription.  Matilda Hefner Tucker's
      mother, Mary McDowell Hefner was the 2nd wife 
      of Joel Tucker. Mother and daughter married 
      father and son in the same year.
