Accidental electrocution of George W FELLERS, IL 1941 Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Diane Rayburn This is an extract from a lengthy, hard to read photocopy of a newspaper report. Any brackets are my addition. George W Fellers aged 57 of Forrest [Livingston Co IL] was electrocuted while digging a well on 16th September 1941 on the farm of Grain dealers John and Hugh Wallace about a mile east of Forrest. Henry Arnolds of Kempton, Charles Davies of Cullom, and William Kernes of Cullom all recieved burns. Arnold Davies and Kernes were all in the employ of George Drendel of Cullom owner of the well digging outfit. Floyd C Vanetta was employee of C.I.P.S. [Power Co]. Coroner was P L Mcguire. Earl Metz of Forest was an employee of John and Hugh Wallace, his father was Roy Metz. Also mentioned Dr A G Seitman.
