Archie E. HAYES and Miss Mary BOUHL were married at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, Jan. 25, by Rev. M. Ryan in the Catholic church of this city. Their attendants were Thomas DORAN and Miss Anna BOUHL and only a few friends witnessed the ceremony. After the ceremony the party returned to the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George BOUHL south of town, where a reception was given from 11 a.m. until 4 o'clock for the married friends and from 5 until 11 p.m. for the younger friends and associates of the contracting parties. An elegant wedding feast was served to the 80 or 90 guests present. The groom was formerly a Piper City boy but for the past three years has been working in the southern part of the state. His bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George BOUHL and is a very estimable young lady. They will begin housekeeping about Feb. 1, on the KLEHM farm west of this city. A host of friends join us in hearty congratulations. NOTE: Unfortunately, I don't know if my grandparents were married in Chatsworth (Livingston Co.) or Piper City (Ford Co.) but they were married on January 25, 1905. --------------------------------------------------------------------- UGENWEB NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organizations or persons.
