Reinhart History

Fred Reinhart came from Pennsylvania when a small boy with his parents, Peter 
and Katherine Bock Reinhart.  They settled in Logan County on the Kelley farm 
near Blue Grass Cemetery, north of Beason.  He married Anna Marie Knecht.  
Their first home was the Charles Warrick farm north of the overhead railroad 
bridge in northeastern Logan County.  In 1913, they moved to DeWitt County, 
three miles north of Waynesville.

Fred and Anna Reinhart were the parents of six children, Clara (Mrs. Carl 
Buchholtz), Erma, Edward, Harold, Bernice, and Waunita.

Erma married Louis Baker and had five children, Cuma, Friend, Jerry, Audrey, 
and Frances.

Cuma married Phillip Coon of Atlanta.  They settled in Georgia and are the 
parents of three children, Mike of Texas who has one son, Susan of Florida has 
three children and Mary of Georgia.

Friend settled in California.  He is married and has two sons, Lewis and Jerry.

Jerry was killed in World War II.

Audrey married Myron Walters and they live in the Armington area.  They are 
the  parents of six children: Kay at home, Bill married Sharon Adams and they 
have two boys, Rod and Greg; Ada Marie married Larry Neff and has three 
children, Kelley, Kevin, and Klint.  Jerry is the father of two children, 
Traci and Angi.  Randy has three girls, Kella, Kristy, and Katie Jo.  Laura 
married Tony Gordon and has two children, Shad and Kody.

George (1900 – 1981) married Ethel Klemm in 1928.  They had four children, 
Derald, Wanda, Beverly, and Larry.  Derald married Doris Kindred and three 
children were born; Connie, married Jeff Starkey.  A baby boy died at birth in 
1981.  Roger married Nancy Brown and they have two children, Marlana and 
Matthew.  Bradley married Tamera Lolling and they are the parents of one son, 
Nathaneil.

Wanda married Robert Billiter.  They reared two children. Kirk Edward married 
Jane Pombroskie.  Carolyn lived in Peoria.

Beverly married Dean Shull and now lives in Morton, Illinois.  They have three 
children, Doug, Jill and Tammy.  Stuart and Linn Finley also reside in this 
home.  Larry married Ruth Wibben and now lives near Bloomington, Illinois and 
has four children; Lori and Lacey Banks living in Dwight and Todd and Chad are 
at home.  Ethel resides at Christian Nursing Home.

Harold Reinhart (deceased) was born 1902 and married Helen Ellington in 1927.  
They were the parents of two sons, Wendell and Dale.  Wendell married Marion 
Wilson.  They raised four children, Gregory, Harold Scott, Judy and Janet.  
Gregory married Patty Colliver and have two children, Lee and Rachel.  Judy 
married Kim Gordon and Scott has not married at this date.  They all have 
settled near Plano, Iowa.  Dale married Carol Cowan and lives near Plano, Iowa.

Bernice married William Buff (deceased); they reared two children, Jackie and 
Bill.  Jackie married John Gordan and Bill was killed in the Vietnam War.  
Bernice later married Ronald Diener and now resides in El Paso, Illinois.

Waunita married Kenneth Yates (deceased).  They reared two children, Jack and 
Christy.  Jack had two daughters, Traci and Kelly.  Christy married James 
Lynch.  They have two sons, Jeff and Todd.  They reside near Stanford, 
Illinois.
