Logan County

I, Robert Rock do solemnly declare on oath to J. J. Holton Clerk of the 
Circuit Court of the County of Logan State of Illinois, that it is bona fide 
my intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever 
all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or 
Sovereignty whatever and particularly to the Emperor of Germany whereof I was 
heretofore a citizen or subject.

	Subscribed and sworn to before me this 30th day of Oct. A. D. 1880.
