Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association July circa 1950 >From the records of Dorothy Laun Bock Family Meets For Annual Reunion Seventy-five members enjoyed a basket dinner at the 19th annual reunion of the Bock family, Sunday, at Lincoln college gymnasium. Sam Sparks of Lincoln, retiring president of the reunion, presided at the business meeting. The oldest members present were Mr. and Mrs. John Warrick of Girard; the youngest were Nancy Jo Love of St. Louis and gene Apel of Atlanta. The member who traveled the greatest distance was Mrs. Mary Lauer of Tucson, Ariz. Officers elected for the coming year were Rudy Johnson, Greenview, president; George Laun, Jr., Hartsburg vice president; and Miss Dorothy Laun, Hartsburg, secretary treasurer. Members of the program committee for the coming year are Miss Betty Gasaway and Miss Blanche Martin of Lincoln, Melvin Laun, Chicago, and Carl Lauer of Lincoln. Other retiring officers were Miss Blanche Martin, secretary-treasurer, and Louis Lauer, vice president. Other members attending came from McLean, Lincoln, Chicago, Hope, N. Dak., David City, Nebr.; Greenview, Atlanta, Danvers, Hartsburg, Beason, Taylorville, Mason City, Highland Park, St. Louis, and Tucson, Ariz.
