Stephenson, Jr., First Bock Reunion Lincoln Courier Monday August 25, 1930 From the records of Dorothy Laun Society News Edited by Dolly Esders Large Gathering of Bock Family One of the largest and most pleasant family reunions held in this community this year was the Bock reunion, held Sunday at the chautaugua grounds, where 228 relatives gathered. After dinner at noon, there was a program and business meeting. So pleasant was the day that steps were taken to make the reunion an annual event, meeting again at the chautaugua grounds next year. The program consisted of cello, mandolin, guitar and harmonica solos by Mrs. Margurite Ponchot and Lucille Wilmert of Atlanta. A history of the Bock family was read by Henry Bock of David City, Neb. Adam Bock of Lincoln, 80 years of age, was the eldest member of the family present. The following officers were elected to serve during 1931: President, Mrs. Chas. Lauer, Lincoln; vice president, Henry F. A. Bock, Beason; Secretary- treasurer, Miss Lillian Apel, Lincoln, and assistant secretary-treasurer, Mrs. Minnine Sparks, Lincoln.
