Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association July 1951 >From the records of Dorothy Laun 20th Roundup of Bock Clan A throng of 130 members attended Sunday's 20th annual Bock reunion at the Lincoln college gymnasium, according to Miss Dorothy Laun. Oldest members present at the reunion were Mrs. Carrie Read, Lincoln, and Henry bock of Beason. Mrs. Lillie Wark of Mason City was also on hand despite her 84 years and the fact that she is not a member of the family. Mrs. Wark is a popular person at these meetings and is usually on hand. Youngest of the clan present were: Susan Kay Schoen, St. Louis, and Gene Apel, Atlanta, Clarence Bock of David City, Neb., and Mrs. Mary Lauer, Tucson, Ariz., took the prize for traveling the greatest distance to attend. Descendents of Marie Elizabeth Bock Raber and Elizabeth Bock Apel were the most numerous of the groups in attendance. Officers elected for next year are: Mary Warrick, Girard, president; William Bock, Elkhart, vice president; and Florence Wilmert, Lincoln , secretary-treasurer.
