Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association July 1960 >From the records of Dorothy Laun Bock Family Has Reunion The 28th annual Bock reunion was at Hartsburg high school gym. A basket dinner was served at noon to 90 members. In the afternoon a business meeting was called by the President Carl Bock. Retiring vice president is Paul Gosda and retiring secretary-treasurer is Mrs. Harold Keest. The oldest guests present were Mrs. Mary Lauer of Arizona and Henry Bock of Beason. The youngest guests were Judith and Mark Litwiller of Delavan. Traveling the greatest distance was Miss Dorothy Lauer from Tucson, Ariz. A memorial was read by Mrs. Gosda for the deceased members of the Bock family. A solo was sung by Patricia Crafton of Manito. The officers for the 1961 reunion are president, Mrs. Fern Gasaway; vice president, Mrs. Henry F. A. Bock; and secretary-treasurer, Mrs. Carl Lauer. It was decided to have the reunion the fourth Sunday in July at the Hartsburg high school gym. Several letters for regrets were received from Chicago, Florida and Arizona. Music was by the city and county cousins: solo by Patrica Crafton; and saxophone duet by Aileen Bock and Mary Gosda. Guests were present from Hartsburg, Lincoln, Manito, New Holland, Peoria, Greenview, Atlanta, Danvers, Delavan, Elk hart, Beason, McLean and Arizona.
