This year, 108 family members met at the Hartsburg high school recently fro a traditional potluck dinner. A business meeting was called to order by President, Carl Lauer of Lincoln. Minutes of the 1966 meeting were read by secretary-treasurer, Paul Gosda of Manito. A memorial service was conducted by vice president Hilda Bock of Beason for members who died during the last year. New officers selected for the coming year are Paul Gosda of Manito, president; Carl Apel of Lincoln, vice-president and Nancy Lauer of Lincoln, secretary-treasurer. Gifts were presented to the oldest members in attendance; Mrs. Ida C. Martin of Lincoln and Adam bock of Beason. The youngest child present was Richard Noffke, three-month old son of the Rev. and Mrs. Henry Noffke of Cleveland, Ohio. Those traveling from the farthest distance this year was the Robert Goodman family from Greenville, Tenn. Family entertainment followed with Jay Tomlin of Greenview, singing 'Georgie Girl' and Mr. And Mrs. Kenneth Buckles of San Antonia, Texas presenting selections of folk songs in duet with guitar accompaniment. Song sheets of favorite old gospel hymns were handed out and group singing was led by Mrs. Florence Wilmert of Lincoln. Mrs. Lillian Bock of Lincoln provided accompaniment on the organ.
