A basket dinner was served at noon with 128 attending. President Daniel Bock called the meeting to order and noted that Mrs. Ella Bock Gallion of the Christian Nursing Home in Lincoln was the oldest living Bock. She will be 98 Aug. 3, 1972. Gifts were presented to Mary Wilmert Bode of McLean, for being the senior woman present and to Frank Bode, McLean for being the senior man present. Both are age 86 and have been married 64 years. Brett Bode, son of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Bode, Carlock, was the youngest boy present and Marilyn Fuller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenson Fuller, New Holland, was the youngest girl present. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence G. Willmert of Scottsdale, Ariz. were recognized for coming the farthest distance, 1600 miles. Secretary-treasurer Vernon Apel recognized those who shared family heirlooms and mementos. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gosda, Manito, were recognized with a blue ribbon for their outstanding display of pictures and heirlooms, Myron Bode, vice president, summarized the statistics with two births and one death during the previous twelve months. The following officers for the 1973 reunion were elected - Mr. and Mrs. Kenson Fuller of New Holland are co-presidents; Mr. and Mrs. Don Wilson of Middletown are co-vice-presidents and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer C. Wilmert of Lincoln are co-Secretary-treasurer. Entertainment of Abbott and Costello films, swimming and reminiscing were enjoyed by all. Present at the reunion were: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence G.
