Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association Lincoln Courier Wednesday August 7, 1974 July 28, 1974 >From the records of Dorothy Laun Bock Reunion The Forty Second annual Bock family reunion was held at the Lincoln recreation Center July 28th (1974) with a basket dinner served at noon. Ninety five persons attended from Arizona, California and Illinois. President Allen Bock called the meeting to order. The minutes and treasurer's report was read and approved. Mrs. Dewitt Yeast conducted the Memorial Services for Adam Bock Sr. who has passed away the past year. Gifts were presented to the oldest man and women Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bode. Youngest girl present was Nicole Pittenger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Pittenger of Morton. Youngest boy was Eric Littwiller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carol Littwiller of RR 1, Armington; Mr. and Mrs. John Lohrens came the farthest distance from Santa Ann, Calif. Officers elected for next year are: Co-Presidents Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Pittenger, Morton, Ill.; Vice President: Miss Hilda Bock and Walter Bock, Beason; Secretary and treasurer, Miss Debbie Lauer, Lincoln. It was decided to hold the nest reunion on fourth Sunday of July at the same place. July 28, 1974 Family Reunion The 42nd annual bock family reunion was at the Lincoln Recreation Center. Youngest girl present was Nicole Pittenger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Pittenger, Morton. Youngest boy, Eric Littwiller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carol Littwiller, R. R. 1 Armington. Coming the farthest were Mr. and Mrs. John Lohrenz of Santa Ana, Calif.
