Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary Observed - William J. Fulscher and Elizabeth Marie Bock Transcription by William L. Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association Evening Courier, Lincoln, Illinois Mr. and Mrs. Fulcher Observe Anniversary Three hundred and fifty relatives and friends called at Mt. Fulcher Sunday and extended their best wishes and congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. William J. Fulcher who observed their golden wedding anniversary. Open house was during the afternoon and many beautiful floral pieces were received by the Fulchers. Tea was served from a table laid with a lovely cutwork cloth brought from China by Mrs. Julia Bock Harwood of Decatur and centered with candles and a three tiered cake. Mrs. Walter Gallion, as sister of Mrs. Fulscher, and Mrs. Charles Stahl poured. They were assisted by Mrs. Henry Fulcher of Petersburg, Ind., and Mrs. Logan Barber of Elkhart. Mrs. Edward Barry assisted with the greeting of guests at the door. Attending the reception were three persons who attended the wedding 50 years ago. They are Henry Fulcher, Mrs. Anna Bock and Mrs. Gallion. The Rev. Mr. Fletcher of Elkhart pronounced the blessing on the house and music was presented by Mrs. W. C. Handlin and daughter Sylvia, and Miss Blanche Martin of Lincoln, Mrs lillie Van Cleave was accompanist. Mrs. Pierce Welsh of San Francisco, Calif., the former Edna Fulcher, called by long distance during the afternoon. Guests were present from Petersburg, Ind.; Lincoln, Elkhart, Springfield, Leroy, Armington, Maroa, Williamsville, Chatham, Decatur, Ottawa, Charleston, Mt. Pulaski, Emden, Athens, and Warrensburg.
