Obituary of Ruth Louise Schrader Apel

     Ruth Apel, 91, of Lincoln died at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, November 27, 2004 at
     Lincoln Christian Village.

     She was a homemaker.

     She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Charity Guild at  her
     church,  former  choir  member  at  St.   Johns.   She   was   the   former
     Secretary/Treasurer of the Lincoln Home Extension,  a  lifetime  member  of
     Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She attended Rothchild School,
     West Lincoln, Lincoln Community High School and Lincoln Business College.

     She was born August 5, 1913 in West Lincoln township the daughter of  Harry
     C. and Louise (Coorts) Schrader. She married Carl Apel, June 6, 1952  (Bock
     family records 1937) in Lincoln. He preceded her in death  in  2003  (April
     2002).

     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one sister, Alice L.
     Mote.

     Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December  2,  2004  at  St
     Johns United Church of  Christ  with  Rev.  Richard  Reinwald  officiating.
     Burial was in New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.

     Visitation was held thirty minutes prior to the service at the Church.
