Obituary of Hilda Ricka Bock

The Courier Lincoln Logan County Illinois Tuesday, September 5, 1995

Hilda Bock, 89, of Lincoln died at 3:35 a.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 5, 1995, at 
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

A 1924 graduate of Beason High School, she was an avid traveler.  She was an 
agribusinesswoman and a member of Homemakers Extension Association, Logan 
County Farm Bureau and Chester Woman's Club.

She was also member of the Charity Guild, Christian Seekers, Jolly Seniors, 
Pairs & Spares, the Round Robin Group, and Lincoln Community Concert 
Association.

She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ.

She was born June 14, 1906, in Beason, a daughter of Henry and Minnie Awe Bock.

Survivors include two brothers, Carl Bock and Adam Bock, both of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St John United Church of 
Christ, with the Rev. Richard Reinwald officiating.  Burial will be in Union 
Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Holland & Barry Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to St John Church of Christ, Jolly Seniors of Lincoln 
Christian Church or Dr. Wayne J. Schall Hospice.
