Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association On file in the Lincoln Public Library The Lincoln Evening Courier, Lincoln, Illinois Friday September 22, 1950 pg 2 col 5 Mrs. Bock of Elkhart Dead Mrs. Louise M. bock of Elkhart died at St. Clara's hospital at 1 a.m. Friday after an illness of several months. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday from Immanuel Lutheran church of Lincoln. The Rev. Paul Brockhaus will officiate and interment will be in Union cemetery. Friends may call at Holland and Barry Funeral home Saturday evening, Sunday afternoon and evening. The deceased was born in Lincoln Aug. 29, 1895, a daughter of William and Amelia Berndt Gluick. She leaves three children, Dr. Harold Bock of Stronghurst; Wayne Bock of Williamsville, and Mrs. Lester Durst of Lincoln; and the following brothers and sisters: Louie Gluick of Pekin; William and Albert Gluick of Lincoln; Mrs. Ella Gehlbach, Mrs. Marie Ruwe, and Mrs. Lillie Brock of Lincoln; Mrs Hilda Damerin of Elkhart, Mrs. Esther Wilham of Peoria; and Mrs. Regina Gebhart of Springfield. There also are three grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
