Stephenson, Jr., - Historian, Bock Family Association Francis L. Bode Francis "Frank" L. Bode 90, rural McLean a retired farmer, died at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln, at 11:03 p.m. Sunday. (August 22, 1976) His funeral will be at 1:30 Wednesday at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, rural McLean, the Rev. John E. Kauffman officiating. Burial will be in McLean Cemetery. Visitation was from 7 to 9 p.m. at the McReynolds Funeral Home, and an hour before the service on Wednesday at the church. He was born June 9, 1886, in Mount Hope Township, McLean, a son of Herman P. and Anna Wagner Bode. He married Marie Dorothea Willmert on February 12, 1908, at Atlanta. She Survives. Also surviving are a son, Walter, Danvers, two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle M. Royse, Littleton, Colo., and Mrs. Doris B. Yeast, Atlanta; one brother, Theodore L., Tuscon, Ariz., six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and one son. A lifelong resident of Mount Hope Township, he attended Mount Hope School near Moores Mill and was active in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the church.
