The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net *********************************************************** LOGAN COUNTY, IL - OBIT Lincoln Evening Courier Clyde Taylor Denning Monday, 21 July 1952 FORMER LINCOLN MAN DIES SUNDAY IN IOWA Clyde Taylor Denning of Charles City, Ia who was employed for a number of years here as florist at Gullet's greenhouse, died at 10 a.m. Sunday in Charles City, hospital in California for 14 years and for the past years was manager of the Cashman Greenhouses Inc. of Charles City. The body will be returned to Lincoln and will be received by Wright Funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The deceased was born March 14, 1899, the son of Henry and Amanda Blower Denning. He married Marian Mc Gough in Lincoln, 28 Oct 1927 and she survives. He also leaves two sons, Pft James E. Denning stationed with the Army near Fairbanks, Alaska and David B. Denning at home; two sisters, Mrs. James Desort of Davenport, Ia; and Mrs. Bryan Zimmerman of Lincoln and one brother Harry Denning of Chicago; and one grandson James E. Denning jr. His parents preceded him in death. Mr. Denning was a member of the Lions Service club and B. P. O. E.
